LeBron drops a career high SIXTY on the Bucks!

January 4 at the Bradley Center

Cavaliers 112, Bucks 110

LeBron James scored a career high 60 points, including the game-winning basket with no time left to give the Cavs a 112-110 win over the Bucks. LeBron was 24-for-30 from the field and 11-for-12 from the line as he set a personal best for scoring, a Cavaliers record for most points scored and the 2nd most points allowed by an Bucks' opponent (Utah's Karl Malone on 1/27/90 with 61.) LBJ's 60 overshadowed another brilliant performance by Milwaukee's Michael Redd, who scored 41 points in the game and Hugh Fitzpatrick's 23 point, 11 rebound effort tonight. The Cavaliers would lead at the half 59-46, but costly fouls kept the Bucks right back in the game. The Bucks had a chance to win the game when Drew Gooden stole the ball from Fitzpatrick, who gave it to LeBron for the easy basket to give him 60 points, and to win it for Cleveland. Besides LeBron's offensive fireworks, the Cavaliers had other standout performances: Anderson Varejao had 8 points and 7 rebounds, Flip Murray had 10 points and hardly used guard Ira Newble (who came in due to foul trouble for Larry Hughes and Damon Jones) hauled down 7 rebounds. The other bright spot for Milwaukee was guard T.J. Ford, who had 12 points and 8 assists.

After letting King James rule the night with a career high 60 points, the Bucks look to regroup are prepare for the Chicago Bulls on January 6th at the Bradley Center.
